Trustees of K, UK Interacts with publishers, writers

Kohima, April 08, 2019: Trustees of Kohima Educational Trust (KET) of UK held an interaction session with the Naga book publishers, entrepreneurs, media reports, writers etc on 8th April 2019 at Hotel Japfu, Kohima.
The KET trustees, Stephen White, Chairman of the UK Media Monitoring Association in his introductory speech shared that he is a Publishing Executive who worked for CBS, McGraw-Hill and The Thomson Corporation in various management roles in educational and professional book and journals publishing and also led a management buy-in of the media monitoring company. He is also a director of the publishing companies Kogan Page, WARC and Infinite Ideas, and Chairman of the UK Media Monitoring Association.
Sylvia May, CEO Kohima Educational Trust, UK and the daughter of Gordon Graham, Honorary Founder and President of the Kohima Educational Trust said that she is proud that her father has inspired many people to share his vision to commemorate those who fought and died in Kohima, and the Naga people who have done so much for the British in the past resolved to found the Kohima Educational Trust (KET) as a debt of honour to the Naga people. She is now actively working to put something back into the community and promote the work of the Trust in Kohima. She also shared that she loves to travel and talk about books and also help people in selling their books internationally.
During interaction session, problems faced by the local writers, publishers, media houses and entrepreneurs were shared and also many queries were being answered and guided in the right directions by the KET trustees.
President, KES, Charles Chasie also said that KET will be conducting a workshop on how to write stories for young writers and writers, news reporting with trained trainers.
